Many Cameras

No time like the present to have my first groupshoot! I was so nervous. This is a theme for me… notice that? I’m a performer, so I am adept at giving off an aura of confidence no matter how I feel inside. But the truth is, new things and new people always give me some level of butterflies. Even if I am a social butterfly myself. (So I’m told.)

Despite the fact I knew almost no one, this shoot ended up being a great experience for me. Those I did know, made sure to pull me in to meet people. I found I easily fell into the relaxed-but-chaotic atmosphere. It reminded me in many ways of my days performing on stage… the hustle of costumes, milling of people, creativity around every corner.

___

My first shoot of the day was with Werner Lobert, a natural light photographer I had spoken with for some time. He has an eye for shapes and shadows - as a fellow artist and lover of dramatic expression, this was something that speaks to my own creative spirit.

I quickly put my ballet skills - and shoes - to good use with Werner. You can count on me to come out of the gate at a sprint!

Next up - peekaboo…and St. Andrew’s Cross too… with Pete You.

Red light boudoir with Caleb Jackson…

Next, I got to collaborate with Mallory Rotiske - and she got some of my favorite studio dance shots! I love the way we combined modeling with dance in these.

Israel of Model Citizenz Photography took some really fun shots of me at the pool table. You would almost think I can play pool. Almost.

Odis Cheathams had some feathers - I absolutely love the avant garde look we came up with, with the industrial wall background.

Last but certainly not least, an unplanned, but fire, shoot with Rusty of ClearOne Photography… hop up on the bar, a little bit of selftie Shibari, and end with some really thirsty boudoir, because, why not, it’s the end of the night and I’m wiped.

This was one of those times you just know you’re going to make a good friend, and sure enough, I did.

If you’re thinking this sounded like a modeling marathon… you’re right. But totally worth it, all the same.
